Beijing is full of stuff to do. How about checking out some local art? The Today Art Museum just south of Guomao is apparently the only non-government funded museum. The entry price is less than 20 kuai and there are loads of galleries around the area to check out.

There are others refreshing posts. Old topics can be talked again. You get used to keep up with new posts, but newcomers are curious about the history. Did you talk about your same life experiences with different people? Some of them may feel no need. You feel it's unnecessary, but others may not. They try to reach new ideas and new opinions, even it's not useful. People don't think like you do. In this way, you just need skip it. Let them interact. Don't always pop up anywhere like a supervisor. Not everyone wants to be managed or judged. Learn to respect.

GT - what you've obviously not noticed is that the VAST MAJORITY of your posts are getting downvoted to oblivion. This means that the people who do visit this site regularly do not appreciate your digging up old posts (usually rather dull ones) and posting a crap comment (as an ECC sock-puppet would do).... such as this post.

If you want to dig up an old post and write something useful, then people won't be downvoting you, nor giving you crap for it! I think I've counted only 3 of your 160 posts that were actually worth reading (and not instantly downvoting!)

You take shots at people who call you out for your crap and accuse them of acting like a 'supervisor'... .which is exactly what you're doing by suggesting you're doing this resurrection crap 'for other people'. Rubbish! You're doing it for your own ego!
