It's simply a cartoon vehicle (like all other animations) to sell toys. They even have another cartoon based on the same thing but surprise, surprise, they race different vehicles (already in stores near you). My kids prefer the bear cartoon (equally violent and equally marketed). I prefer Looney Tunes where no violence or questionable content ever appeared.

seems that the chinese gov has finally noticed it isn't suitable for children and asked the producer of the cartoon to adjust their future production.

The cartoon's name is Xi Yang Yang.  I love watching it, although it's true husband gets abused a lot.  I find that this is an endearing quality to the Chinese people I know.  Wife with bad temper and husband who endures the abuse/sa jiao because he loves her.

Yeah it's xi yang yang 喜羊羊和大灰狼 or something like that. They must be Shanghainese, poor guys are always getting dominated
