Easy. Stop lying and trying to cheat foreign companies out of money. Create IP laws in line with the rest of the modern world. Actually follow the WTO guidelines (and stop whining- you can't pick and choose which ones you want).
Well, maybe not that easy.
To add on to what MrTibbles said, China could:
1.Stop voting against the US in the UN for the purpose of aggravating us.
2. Quit making retarded territorial claims in the South China Sea
3. Stop blatantly lying. All countries lie but China's lies are exceptionally easy to see through.
4. Stop supporting the world's worst rogue states like North Korea, Iran, Sudan and Myanmar.
5.Actually care about helping the world in the financial crisis instead of scheming to make them vassal states with loans they can never pay back.
Dear beaufortninja
"1.Stop voting against the US in the UN for the purpose of aggravating us.
2. Quit making retarded territorial claims in the South China Sea"
——no chinese will agree with these two points. that ridiculous and rude for china people.
be honestly, we are different countrys and have differents opinions, that couldn't change.
Put a lid on the fascist side of China. Start teaching true history to your youth, stop fueling rabid nationalism.
Stop using the state media to vilify, insult and demean your closest allies and trading partners. Abusing your best friends is no way to carry on.
Stop complaining about being "sensitive" and "China's hurt feelings" when you yourselves dish it out much worse than you can take it. It's not the 1800s anymore, the great game is over and everyone lost. There needs to be a lot more quid pro quo and civility in international diplomacy. Global trade has made us all dependent on each other whether we like it or not, and migration both ways isn't going to stop. We need to start learning to get along because we're all inescapably bound to each other at this point.
had anyone of above learnt anything about China truely? or just foolishly believe their media...(ONLY SOURCES)
why ppl here talk like some kind of idiots.?...this site attracts low IQ foreigners i bet.
My media barely talks about China. No one here really cares about China, except they a few things like Fengshui. It is not an important country to us.
I got my opinions from living in China for years, watching Chinese TV, reading Chinese newspapers. Talking like an idiot = not providing any substance to your arguments, just throwing out insults.
localla, I wager we know far more about your country than you do. The funny thing is how little you know about ours.
I'm willing to accept a few thumbs downs to put the truth out there. And that is my educated opinion. China's SCS claims are absolutely retarded. China has to follow international maritime laws just like everyone else. Why they think they're an exception to it is beyond me.
And voting to support the massacres of Libyans and Syrians just to oppose the US and Europe is incredibly stupid but I guess Chinese people who haven't socially awakened yet will still disagree. And that's my opinion.
China has a lot of media coverage in Australia, because it is such an important trading partner and a relatively near neighbour in the Asia Pacific region. I just finished watching a documentary on two Australians who were working in Yunnan with the local Tibetin people. They were teacing teenagers the skills needed to be ably to work in the tourism industry in Shangrila. The project was jointly funded by, I think they said, an Australian charity and the US government and it showed the teens in their education and the accommodation they were provided. One of the graduates who now works in a top hotel, was also shown returning to her home in the village and how the money she earned had assisted in changeing her families situation. The young people in it werre very shy at first but towards the end were really coming out of their shells and were extremely hard working and polite. The doco had some ballance with parts being critical of the government for not giving the news crew access to many areas, but also highlighting how the infrastructure and jobs that the opening up of this area to tourists had benifited many of the local population. This is one of many examples of how the media in Australia provides it's people with information in a reasonably balanced way.
For all that China tries to save face, they don't know how to do it on an international scale. Seriously, people all over the world save face at some level or other. However, in order to do that properly, you have to know what others want to hear, and then back up your claims at some point. Breaking promises doesn't win anyone over. When you're the new guy on the block, you have to follow the rules already in place, that's just how it is. Failure to do that only makes China look bad in the world's eyes. The positives have to outweigh the negatives. Also, by copying, you can only ever be second best. If China showed a little creativity, people might have a higher opinion of the country. The potential is there, but it's being wasted.
