Q: What Chinese names do you find beautiful?

Even though it's very different, are there any Chinese names you have found to sound beautiful?

Can't say I find Chinese names to be somewhat beautiful sounding. I can't even remember 90% of the names that are told to me. It just sounds like blah, blah, blah to me most of the time.

So, I guess my answer is no.

You have to understand a Chinese name for it to appear beautiful.

e.g. Ju Hua may not sound that appealing to the ear if you don't know what it is.

I met a guy named 严灵剑, or "Serious Soul Sword". Not necessarily beautiful, but  pretty bad-ass.

Well I don't think Chinese is a "beautiful" sounding language to begin with, so that's an issue for me.

In most languages, it (at least to me) seems incredibly easy to differentiate between male and femal names.  If you tell me a Chinese name, I have no idea if it's a man or a woman.  I have met men and women who share the same name as well.

The "doubling up" of words in a name is a little too cutesy for my liking:
Like "TianTian", "QiaoQiao", "NiNi", "WeiWei", etc. It just seems to me to be like:
"Hi, my name is Robert, but call me BobBob, this is my wife Denise, call her DeDe and, and our son Richard, but you can call him RickRick".

That's just my personal preference though.
