Q: What chinese will do for money?
Last week my chinese workmate told me that last year in Shanghai a guy sold his kidney to buy a cell phone. I also heard that in poor parts of China sometimes families don't care about old people cause they don't have enough money to support them.
Do chinese have a limit on what they'll do or will they do just about anything for money?, Do you have the same feeling?. I really feel scare about this situation.

Like anywhere in the world, if someone wants something bad enough, they will do whatever it takes to get what they want. In China there are just a lot more people doing it.

Agreed. I dont think any one nationality, ethnic group, etc. has a monopoly on "mercenary behavior."
I agree with all of the above but one thing that I have noticed over the years here is the locals can be truly more "mercantile" than other peoples that I have known.
Chinese people can do or doing what other human being can do or doing in other parts of the world for Money..only the scale will be different in every part of the world..
