Q: What cities do you guess will have snow for XMAS?

I know December is kinda the start of winter here and you cant know the future but based on past experiences.......

I want to go and have a white Xmas with my wifey. Shenzhen has no hope of course. Harbin is out as I checked the flights and I dont wanna spend 5000 or more on domestic flights and maybe minus 20 is a bit too much to walk around and enjoy it. But most places I wouldnt have a problem with.  I know i could go to Henan or something but some farmer place isnt really gonna have any Xmas stuff. Maybe im wrong. I was hoping for...

1. Snow!

2. An international 5 star hotel, like a Sheraton or something so we can have a turkey dinner.

3. Some sort of xmas environment, decorations or activities and such small as they may be.

4. A normal city with cafes and stuff to enjoy hot chocolate.

I would think  Beijing would  be good  but looking at the weather reports it doesnt look good.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

i know you already axed out Harbin, but think about it.  the snow and ice festival is beautiful and one of the most interesting things i've seen in china.  plus, its a huge city, so you have the five star hotels, western amenities, and nice shopping.  yes its cold in dongbei, but trust me, you get use to it after a few beers.

if you want a winter wonderland, try changbaishan in jilin.  world's highest volcanic lake, real beautiful.  covered in pine forest/tundra/and a few ski resorts.  the nearby city has pricey hotels, and cheap ones.
