Q: what is the definition of being a ''regular member'' on ECC?
ALL subscribers are ''regular members'' to this site! not some and not those who have took upon themselves they are ''above'' other '' non-regular members'' because they have been on this site for years Is ECC a private exclusive country club available only to a select few? The way some whom are vetted on this site seem to think they are superior by the comments I have read here! So again, ALL subscribers are regular members not a few! I have a point by asking this question
A "regular" member is one who can relieve themselves daily to their own satisfaction. An "irregular" member is one who is so badly constipated that they are deemed to be "full of crap."
Regular members can actually put together a coherent argument composed of logical thoughts and reasoning rather than the diarrheic spewing from those too mentally challenged to: 1) actually be in China, or at least be en route to China, 2) actually ask a valid question that has sufficient back-story and, 3) ask a valid question that other users can respond to and debate/share experiences with.
This is not an exclusive country-club. It's more like the "village of the damned" and we seem to have far too many village idiots than we deserve.

They'd have some English ability and western cultural knowledge which would far outweigh a native Chinese woman AND the Filipinas certainly would be more willing to entertain the prospect of getting a green card even if it meant being the bran to the raisin. Why don't you haunt some Filipina websites and leave the trolling of the site to our locally grown and produced trolls?

Compared to each other countries and their economies the phillippines are dirt poor compared to china! Yes they know english very well thats a plus their system is simular to the US their women are beautiful But getting a green card takes just as long as time for a filipina as it takes a chinese lady to get The immigration process takes the same length of time if i choose a pilipina lady or a chinese lady to marry which could be over a year! This is an interesting question given the recently announced changes to the Party rules.
As of last week, all 88 million Party members have to adhere to Party rules rather then the law of the land. The headline on China Daily was " New rules separate CPC discipline from the law". Although this headline only stayed up for an hour or two before it was changed to something more mellow. I think someone must have clicked that saying Party members were above the law was maybe not a good idea.
So what has this got to do with Cubs Question?
Well, under the new laws, all Party members are now banned from membership of any private club. This includes golf clubs, gyms, private members clubs etc. They are even banned from holding VIP cards now.
The reasoning behind this rule change, is that the Party rules are stricter than the law of the land, so members should have to follow the stricter rules.
So, could ECC be defined as being a "private club"?
If yes, then effectively, any Party member posting on here would be breaking Party rules.
But this is not a private club of course. It's an open Q&A forum. Only an email address is required to join. It is also a very open forum considering it's location and subject matter.
How would the Party define it? I suspect they would see it as being private given that we don't use our real names. It is also a commercial site.
So, to Cubs question.
It's not a private "country club". But I reckon it's probably off limits to Party members now unless they have written permission to post here.
