Q: what is diffenrent between Chinese club and western club?
Not much. From my understanding, in a western club, people go to relax, enjoy, and have a few drinks (or many). Chinese clubs are all about the beat (music). There are, of course, many similarities.I've been to many western clubs which rock your socks off! The beat is so strong you could choke a chinchilla!
In toto: clubs are clubs. Shake it, flaunt it, go to see and be seen.
It sounds like pub or bar. Nobody dances there.
clubs are the place that people go there have drinks and dance.
Chinese clubs are more fun for watching the table dancers. Western clubs are more fun for watching people dancing on the table.
Chinese clubs are traditionally made of bamboo, for swifter and more accurate handling, where as western ones are usually made of heavier, harder materials for maximum power.
The music in Chinese (dance) clubs sounds exactly the same from the time you arrive until it's time to head out. That monotonous boom, boom, boom, boom, is constant. The DJ's seem to play for themselves as opposed for the patrons.
In my experience going to clubs in Canada and America the DJ will at least mix it up a little with recognizable tracks.
Chinese clubs got chinese drunk guys dancing on the dance floor like monkeys and clowns while we the foreign guys do our duty by picking up the hot girls instead of them....simply in the chinese clubs it's more organized..Everyone knows their duty..........LOL
Chinese clubs seem to be more old school. Like the kind of things we had in the west in the 30s.
For starters the drink menu language will be Chinese in a Chinese club and English in a western club. Drinks....can you buy a mixed drink (western) or do you have to buy the whole bottle (Chinese)? Are there mini beer glasses for gunbai's (Chinese) or do you get a real beer glass? Does the table have dice on it?
Are there bar girls who get paid to drink with customers in order to get them to drink more (Chinese)?
Are there dancing girls on pedestals (Chinese) or is there a live band (western)?
Does the food menu have chicken feet instead of chicken wings?
A western club is bigger and usually has nails in it.
