Q: What is the difference between Cantonese and Chinese culture?
What in Cantonese culture is significantly different from mainland Chinese culture?
HAHA, this is the first time I meet such a question.Good question.Well , let me see...
Basically those two are the same.
Yet in my opion Cantonese are more open and willing to accept new things.
And of coursr the language are significantly different. Cantonses is more difficult than Mandarin.
LEONG, u r Chinese aren't u? And you don't know Cantonese just heard or saw on TV what happened in Hongkong?
Cantonese are more Conservative.
Actually, a lot different, language, food, culture~
U will figure it out as time goes, I can feel you are quite interested in Cantonese and Chinese.
I'd say Guangdong is to China what Spain is to Europe.. there is a more extroverted, warmer, more exotic and more lively lifestyle down here south...
and cantonese hiphop sounds really cool! 
Eating habits are different aren't they? (the times of eating etc.)
I must say this is actually a good question for once.
There are subtle differences. And don't ever tell Cantonese people they're the same as everyone else. They have a lot of cultural pride. One of the major differences in my opinion is that Cantonese people will eat ANYTHING.
