Q: What do Chinese presidents do after they retire?
Do they keep pulling the strings from behind the scenes? Do they go on vacation? Do humanitarian work?
I believe they Party like a rockstar like all presidents do when they retire. Well I know when anybody retires from anything they celebrate.....in the military tradition is we tie are boots and toss them up on the power lines. When a boxer retires he hangs up his gloves and then he parties like a rockstar!!

actually a bit of incest isn't always a bad thing, i think he was dropped on his head a few too many times.
They probably remain involved in politics until they grow senile. I'm sure they still have a lot of power. I'd imagine they sit on high level committees and work to promote their political allies and beliefs.

yep, they are still able to exert great influence on the politburo, i guess...
They will probably retire to live on "savings" from their salaries while in power. The three previous ones were really too old to think of anything else, but the current one is still rather young, I am sure he will serve in a few committees, and do work in the background to some extend. in a way I do admire him, I think he has done an "on the plus side " job as President of PR of C.
