Q: What do people do for entertainment here?

Anything interesting or entertaining about the place your living at now? Television shows don't seem to have much entertainment value, many movies are kind of dull so what's fun?

i was in wenzhou 温州 before, living in campus called chashan茶山; you could have a trip on the mountain and pick fresh 杨梅 red bayberry or have a swim in a cool pond...

Count the spiders in my apartment. Hey, the bigger one is back, but I sprayed it with water, back into the crack of hell in the wall of my bathroom. Now I know where they come from, yet I can do nothing. One does not simply seal off Mordor.

can you shoot elastics with any accuracy, I can nail a fly with one. if the spider is that big, try a dart. have some fun with them,

Southern Zhejiang is like a different world. I'm in the southern tip of Jiangsu and we have no spiders in the city.

About the television shows... I read (and noticed) that they recently started making "intellectual" game shows (like the interview for jobs thingy), which is hilarious, considering that people watch TV to release some pressure after work, and the majority of people don't have an education so start with.

They're trying so hard to not look stupid...

For me a good day was like today. Meet the expat group at the regular restaurant for a long lunch, then off to the bar for a couple of cold ones while sitting outside watching life go by. A nice chilled out day.

There are almost no expats in this city, and very few good restaurants. I have a few Chinese friends I meet with to play pool. There's also a bar that just opened that lets me drink for free because I'm a foreigner, so I go there sometimes.

Yesterday I was really bored so I took a bus across town and walked 2 hours back to my room in the School Dorms.
