Q: What to do in Wuhan?

I will probably have to go 2 or 3 days to Wuhan and I would like to know if there is anything worth visiting.

I have heard about the Wudang mountains, but it seems that they are hours away from the city.

Houcaller Beefsteak. I think that's it....

Wudang mountain is probably like 7 hours away... by train. It's near Shiyang, which is above Xiangyang (my favorite place in all of China). You could try the bullet train if it'll get you there in time.

Imho, I recommend visiting Xiangyang.

Eat and drink.

Huanghelou is overrated.

SwedKiwi1:

Huang He Lou is also a bit expensive and Guang Gu tends to be really crowded. Jiang Han Road is a lot better for shopping and is nearby Hu Bu Xiang - some traditional alleys selling good food near the riverside.

Wuhan University ,Hubei Provincial Museum ,Dong hu (east lake) park, the three places are quite close, and they are my favorites in Wuhan. Besides, you can go to Hubuxiang to have snacks,it's  famous  in Wuhan for snacks,it lies just beside the Yangtse River in Wuchang district and you can walk to the Wuhan Yangtse River  Bridge in three minutes from there.
