I took what I could with me. I gave some stuff to friends, threw trash away, and left a few things that were too good to throw out in the room. Either the cleaning person will use them, leave them for the next expat, or throw them away. It doesn't matter to me.

I might move to another place latter,I have many st5uffs with me,some cloth I dont like, should throw soem away,but just can't,least all of thee stuffs are not come for free.

I'm giving most things away. I gave most things to my GF, printer, scooter, kitchen stuff, bedding.

Take with you what you want, sell what you do not really want to take, and leave behind or give away what you can not sell.

Really, the only thing I've bought alot of are books. And when I go, they go with me, come hell or high water. Which is sad, 'cause when you move, books are just dead weight. But there it is. I'll spend the RMB to ship them with me. Now, whether or not they get there is an entirely different set of circumstances, lol.

Depends....most comments here seems logical and practical. Are you leaving for good to home or to another destination within CN? I move abit too....and depends as to if my next place provides housing or not? (furnished or not). You take what you need "practically', and the rest I guess you leave behind for the Landlord to offer to the next tenant. Should you find another place where another expat left behind say...a nice good heater for winter, then it's a bonus (u don't need to buy one then!). The big stuff.....sell it by having an ópen house'? or give it to your local friends etc....

 I stuff them up my arse.........stick my bare behind out of the window.........and fart. Anything that is still there after, I keep. My philosophy is; if I fart and a load of furniture and lamps and stuff comes flying out of my arse, I don't want that stuff anymore.
