Q: What do you think of my new sales?
I hired two sales recently, I hired a guy two monthes ago. He had about 2 years overseas studying background in an English speaking country, but his English accent is terrible and there's no engery in his voice while making calls to customers. He rarely made any calls to customers until I told him to do it. If I didn't say it, he pretty much just never did it. But the way he writes business email is good and he's hard working while sending emails even when he's on his weekend.
I then just hired a girl like a week's ago. Her English accent is good and sounds like non Chinese. But there no engery in her voice while she's making calls to customers. I tried to train her for many times, still has no engery. I told her how to write a short email to a customer, but she still didn't finish it after 10 minutes. Then I helped she write it in two minutes to tell her that she's too slow.
Is engery in the voice very important for being a sales? How do you think of my two sales?

I think you are on the right track with regard to training however I think you need professional outside help with it.
Good on you for making inroads to fix things.
A lot of companies don't see the problems and just keep going on with blinkers on till the company dies ....and then blame others for their mess.

So, you hired 2 sales, instead of making sales? And these sales have genders, voices and can even write e-mails and make calls for you? Wow.
I don't know what engery is, but it certainly makes those sales perform for you. Imagine if you hired a sale with more engery!
PS: I literally didn't know what she meant by engery until I typed it into google, and it was corrected as energy...

I thought it was good they had no engery... I never like talking with engery people. All that hate and hostility. Nice peaceful people can be ok to talk to.
What made them engery? If their job is to cold-call customers, then yeah - I'd get pretty damn engery too!

Their job is doing cold call to customers. And they speak like sleepy people have no energy. I am kind of worrying now. If they perform bad, I will look bad as a manager.
