As long as they cover it with tissues, I see no problem. Do you want me to nose-drool all over the dinner table?

It's when they shoot the snot on the floor... and/or wipe it on their shirts that it's a problem.

Do you mean the distinctly Chinese methodology? That is to say, push one nostril with an index finger and then use nasal pressure to force the contents out of the other nostril. Then reverse the process. Yuk! But it seems that world footballers have adopted the same means. Must be related to IQ level.

It's very disgusting when you see somebody blow his/her nose at a dinner table. some even do it through the car or bus windows especially the drivers who use their fore fingers and hate to use napkins. I have seen people doing it in restaurants. more so, these roadside BBQs shops. This guy who sells is the same person who handles money,  and roasts your hotdog or  chicken  after nose blowing. What a damn combination!

Oh!! Yuck! I don't want to listen to it anywhere, The moment I hear, it makes me full and wants to throw out. Already my appetite is gone.  What irritates me more is a grownup who consistently snorts and sniffs

might be a population issue here again .....  I know we all  (all construction workers, and most athletes) do it  too.......  maybe not in front of you, or at a restaurant ...  but we do............ kind of hide it maybe..... I like the openness here in China.... it is what it is..  like it or love it or , decisions decisions

Slightly different variation, I was traveling on the metro in Guangzhou last week and a young lady standing beside me turn to me and sneezed. I mean sneezed hurricane style. and all  landed on my bare arm, I was furious. There was no apology or even acknowledgement to what she even done. I had to leave the train and wash my arm next stop. These people have not manners what so ever. They forget that what they eject through the coughs and sneeze's carry germs or diseases and go airborne and the rest of us breath in. Filthy disgustingpeople..

A:Your potential employer is right! Purpose of the Medical exam before granting Z visa is to make sure, you won't be entering China in any abnormal and harmful to others condition.Few days after your arrival to China, you'll be required to complete another ME ... If ME in China will be OK, you'll get a Residence permit stamp into your book some 10-days afterwards. Imagine, you're an employer, who can sponsor my entry and work in China, but after my arrival to China would be found I carry some sickness, which would prevent Chinese .gov to issue a Residence permit. Rule is: Z visa should be converted into Residence permit in 30-days after entry to China.    So, my advice is:"Complete ME in your home country and forward medical results to your employer".Z visa grant will follow shortly afterwards. Employer is not wrong at their demand for the pre-arrival ME from your home country hospital.   -- icnif77
