Let's hope he gets a 'fair' trial and is made to suffer the consequences of his behaviour.   No doubt, if found guilty and sentenced, he'll do what his missus did, pay someone to serve the time.   Then pop off to join his wife on their luxury island in the Persian Gulf.

I think that he'll be put out to pasture. They'll give him a meaningless assignment in some backwater. 

He's such a big fan of the old red days and such....I'd like to see him beaten with Mao's book and wearing a sign around his neck that says "Douchebag" or something. 

What will happen may well be different to what should happen. And of course that all depends on whether he is guilty of any 'real' crime, and by real I mean not just pissing off the party leadership.

If he has committed any 'genuine' crime and that can be proven, (properly proven) then he should be severely punished and that punishment should be increased as he was in a position of leadership where examples should be set.

In reality, I think he will be kept 'quiet' until the leadership announcements are made and all the new people are settled in then he will be quietly released to write his memoirs on a remote farm on the Bhutan border. (No offense to Bhutan, just one of the more remote areas I thought of.)

I read an interesting article today that posited that the resent protests may have been organized by a faction within the politburo to undermine China's incoming President and push the country further to the right or left. Think about it, there aren't very many outcomes that favor China. If what the article suggested is accurate, then Bo could end up rehabilitated.
