Q: What does a China tourist visa cost for Americans

My  L visa (tourist) has expired.

I want to get a new tourist (L) visa.

I am an American.

.( My last visa was for one year/ multiple entry.)

I am in Hong Kong.

How much will the new visa cost?

I would like to get a 6 month visa.

What is the address I go to to and apply for L visa?

It's cheaper if you do it back home in America. Here they charge you like 2 or 3 times that of what it would take to get an L-visa here.

1. Google 'Chinese Embassy in Hong Kong', and you will get all info about visas, address, phone number.

 2. On the top of this page is written: 'Enter your question or keywords'. Write keyword 'Hong Kong', and press 2nd word 'search'.

Answers were already given to the most questions you are asking. On eChinacities Board, you can find info about Hong Kong, Embassies, Hotels and budget lodging.

3. Google: 'USA Embassy in Hong Kong', and ask them about visa cost.

A:My friends who are managing schools still can't recruit from outside of China because of the borders being closed, as far as I know that doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon. If you have a current existing residence permit etc you can re-enter the country, going through the usual quarantine process obviously but no new visas are being issued. I don't know about business visas but I suspect it wouldn't be much different. For up to date info you could probably contact the Chinese embassy in your country. -- Stiggs
