On the dating website,some people choose"Empty nest" when asking about children.What does "Empty nest "mean?
its mean, infertile, can't have baby for woman. womb as a nest. and also can mean, kids are already old enough and fly out of home
Nessquick is right. Either the woman or man is infertile, and they don't have children, or the children are already grown up and have left the home, so the parents can become depressed.
However, in the context of the dating website, it probably means either 1) they do NOT want children, or 2) they have adult children who have already left the home, so they're on their own.

So you must really want out of China if you are looking at guys in their 50s and 60s. On a dating website it would only mean that their children are adults and not living at home.
