The main difference is that it has video and picture uploads. Twitter doesn't because Twitter isn't pretending to be anything more than it is. Small messages from mobile devices.

Apparently more possibilities, looks like a better tweeter but a lesser facebook. And it's under the government's control, so they can del... uh harmonize any non-harmonious content.
Its just for commercial business .Chinese dont want other country Internet medias to dominate their domestic market .
