Q: What foreign expats earn the most and the least in China?
I met an IT guy from Mumbai India who does "program analysis" and the guy said he is paid 50,000 yuan per month by Huawei and most teachers I know earn less than 20,000 per month. Why such a big salary gap? Who makes more and less than these two examples other than some entrepreneur that owns his own company?

FTs earn up to 50000, I mean real FTs working at real schools.

You get way too much flak on this site Eorthosio...people may not like it but it's true.
Talk to somebody who works at like Shanghai British International School they're making bank.
Those places have to offer competitive salaries to high level prep schools in the West to get that same level of staff...and that means significantly more.
If you work at a great school in Fairfield connecticut or something why else would you move to a Chinese city?

I say I am paid 80K, tax free, a month.
Most teachers I know make nice pictures out of construction paper and macaroni.
Other than parents eating the pictures, what, exactly, is your question again?
Who knows?
Like everything, it depends on your skills, connections, how hard you work and some luck.
The most: Probably President Xi (he must be a foreigner because Chinese are all fit and healthy and do no have bellies like that). 
The least: I guess there must be a foreigner or two rotting away in some Chinese prison earning zilch for 7 day a week labor stints.
Most teachers do earn less than 20k/mth.
But some don't. Very few, however.
In fact, most ESL teachers earn less than 10k/mth.
No different to what they were earning 6 or 8 years ago.
He earns close to 10k USD? In a country that graduates soo many IT grads. Add a dose of common sense and reality to your next account postings.
So which foreigners in China earn the most and least amount of money?

The CFTU teaches us that making money is not important...money is strictly for The Leader to grow the faith so he earns the most.
For good CFTU members even 4,000 per month is considered too much. If you make more than that you are likely to be banished.
