Actually, my wife is okay with me having a girlfriend. She says that it is a good excuse for her to find a boyfriend. :) I don't look for girlfriends just to make her unhappy. hahaha

I've heard that's a great gift. I don't see why all Western men don't give their Chinese girlfriends at least two.

thats a good question. also i wonder if her austrian boyfried got any. or if he married her after a week like she wanted

i have it on good intel that the austrian guy gave her a wrapped ipad the night before the train trip to meet her parents. he plowed her all night. the next morning they went to the train station. while waiting for the train he went to use the bathroom. and she never saw him again. not only was the ipad in his back pack but also the iphone 4s and the macbook air he got her. not to mention he was holding the train tickets. when she reached in her pockets to try and find some money she found a note that read "ifucked u igood" later that day she committed suicide by jumping off an iaplle store (fake apple store)
Just take her shopping for clothes. It will be a dreadfully mundate experience for you, but wonderful for her. But I would suggest giving her the money you are comfortable spending up front so she doesn't get carried away.

Actually, I enjoy going with my girlfiend to buy clothes! i dont know why men complain after all, we are treated to a personal fashion show! If you are a good sport, she will also model anything you give her! Now, the only time I cry is when I receive the dreaded "Le bill"....

I agree, I enjoy that part of it, it's the rest of the time that she browses racks of clothes for ages that are boring.

I brought Lindt Lindor chocolate kisses and Ferrero Rocher. I read China chocolate was not that great. Ferrero was suggested, but I saw it in stores. I gave this to GF and She asked where I got it from. I showed her the English/French writing on the back and she just lit up. I also had swiss chocolate bars. None of them held up well in the south China heat. I also brought perfume. Perfume is not common in China. I did my own research for new popular scents. Actually found a guy on U-tube that gave good advice. I bought by what is popular, what I liked and by what the bottle looked like, Katey Perry Purr, was one.Cute cat bottle.
