There are all kinds of weird accounts that keep popping up with different agendas. Wumaos, people with different sketchy agendas regarding the CF** and others trying to stir shit up for whatever reasons. This site gives me the creeps sometimes but I still love it. . I have to say some of the trolls and weirdos do keep things interesting. Vicky, where are you?

Can't really block postings here. Registered poster can post as anon, if desire. There're no points/flashlights for anon postings, so I always post with my handle.surprise You can choose not to reply to anon's.

Admin has admitted that one of the people that complains the most, actually does most of the anonymous posting.

It could be worse Mattaya used to post 3 stupid questions and then 10 stupid answers for maximum points, then use multiple accounts to give himself more points. Then he started commenting on most answers. He came back as Slyva and started it again, slowly.

I've wondered why this guy would spend that much time to be a pest and not come back. I'd give up all my points to know who he really was.

Who cares about anonymous questions? Just let people ask stuff. If they have a legit question, try to answer it instead of ridiculing them for being anonymous.

In a way, what difference does it makes if I post anonymous or post with my handle "HappyExPat"? Neither is my real name or true identity. I can see the need for some "embarrasing" questions to be posted "anonymous", but a lot of them lately do not have an ounce of "delicate" material.

Now, the current "CATADMIN" has come public with allowing anonymous posting. So, what we can do? Almost nothing.

As a norm, I will not answer an anonymous question. If many of us would do the same, and posters of "Questions without a name" see no answers, pretty soon asking questions anonymously will fade away. And also, in some questions, you will see in the one or two answers the name of the person posting the "Question without a name".

Most of the anonymous posts don't deserve making it out of the "need answers' purgatory to which they are confined.  It's slightly annoying to see the frequency of which people complain about anonymous posts, in consideration to the fact that some of their own posts are the ones that brought the topic to life on the boards. -.-  I hope most people can just choose to not answer them and let them be confined to their own quarantine.

About two weeks ago admin said that the anonymous post function would be stopped. I guess that isn't going to happen.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
