I like to watch football. But felt bored after watching China football team did not shoot after more then 60 minutes. Anyone can explain the logic here?

From what I understand the Chinese soccer team has always been a disappointment.

I've heard severals reasons why over the years...

:guanxi - those who get picked for the teams have well connected fathers but are not necessarily the best players.

:Chinese kids not having the time or places to go and kick around a ball after school with their friends. Homework is more important to most parents.

: Corruption

:Lack of social sport clubs, if you want coaching it'll be very expensive.

I'd guess it's a combination of these.

The soccer players are required to run after only one ball for the whole 90 minutes ... surprise

I think, that is the biggest problem ... laugh

When I was a kid, we each had one ball ...

It sounds much nicer and not as offensive when you say:

"This player has two left feet ...", i.e. can't play soccer wisely ...

A: What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never
A:What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never'? Chinese recruiters don't have the same habits as the western recruiters have ... Never stop sending your CV to the job offers, not even when you have an invitation or two for an interview! Don't expect Chinese will send you "Thank you for your application. You weren't selected at this time ...!" notice, so keep sending yer CV to the newly posted job openings. Looking for a job in China was like a part-time job in my time in China ... Good luck! -- icnif77
