I've had many different hobbies. I turned my love of cats into one. I used to raise and show cats. I like to keep busy, usually anything with tools. I have a 38 Chevy hotrod almost finished, a 33 started. I'm renoing my house. I'm refinishing an antique table. It was huge, I made it smaller. If I get bored or hug up on one thing, I'll go do something else. Usually I'm juggling 3 projects. In China I never had hobbies except for entertainment. I would have modified my scooter, but never had enough tools. At home I have just alot of tools, plasma cutter etc. I have a gas scooter now, I moded the variator, it's now faster.
Oh how I miss my tools............ woodwork and home reno's are on my agenda,,,,,,,, please bring me a router and 100 accessories and a hammer drill and 50 bits and a variety of saws and blades, couple sanders......... from that I could get started................ meanwhile My hobbies include the walk in the park, riding the e-scooter around searching for hard to get foods, and the occasional jaunt to the go-kart track, badminton court and swimming pool............the constant demands for sex do keep me active, and I am learning to enjoy harassing Canada Immigration, my MLA and CBC news. my baseball gloves and lacrosse sticks have proven to be somewhat useless, as has, surprisingly, my fishing rod. warned not to eat the fish I can get off the dock.. so please send me my boat too.
I don't do catch and release!!!!!!!!!!!
BHGAL:
Drinking beer should not be forgotten, and the balcony garden is on my mind, and the large variety of baijui must be taste tested. It is a long list that should get done.... eChinacities gets attention.............. not enough hours in a day/days in a month...... think I'll watch some English TV.
It's NFL football day today.I listen to a lot of music here, since you can download pretty much anything online with minimal threat of being contacted by angry record companies. I guess the same goes for tv shows and film.
For me, Ted, Is very similar. No hobbies at all here, while back i like and love to do anything from house renovation to play a dirty game with cars etc. I like to play with plane plastic models, since i was maybe 8years old. I bought some here in china, but 2 planes i was doing 2 years almost and gone by my son play
As you said, not enough tools here, but i start collecting some most usefull tools, and my wife always wonder, why i spend money for it. Once she realized, that my tools sets for few hundred kuai ( in total ) are very usefull and work can be done in 5 minutes, instead of finding phone number, spend money for call the service man and wait them 2 days to come and ask another 500kuai for his job (which is not done well) and with his taxi fare, she agree whatever I say I need buy.
Produce electronic music...used to be my job...not here though...(there's scene for it only in Beijing and Shanghai)...If I play my music live here, people would commit suicide.
Still release an occasional record...(In EU or US) - vinyl!
I like cycling (when it's not deathly polluted outside).
Re the above post, me too. Even though the weather here today was - 5 C., I went for a good ride today. I only lay the bike down in late December / early January when the temperature becomes really unbearable.
My second hobby is the this board and enduring some of the answers of some of the members.
I like cross stitching. I know that is so old school, but it takes up time, and you end up with something you can hang on the wall to admire. I bought a very large one that would look nice in a living room that I won't finish for years. I watch movies while I'm cross stitching. Sometimes I like cooking.
Doesn't anybody masturbate and watch porn anymore? Gee........

Thats life style not hobby. Why bother, it's so easy to get someone to do you.
