Q: What is with the incessant gurgling of water through my radiator?

Some time last week, I don't remember what day, it seems like forever ago. water started inching its way to the radiators in our house. But now it WONT STOP, all day all night I have to deal with this very loud gurgling of water. Will it end on 15 Nov when the heat is turned on? Oh yea that is the other thing, part of the radiator is warm but the rest of it is cold. Does this mean when the holy day comes, I still wont have any heat?????

Its mean, they are filling it with water. and that there is a lot of air. you know, how to take the air out ? there is a small screw , probably, which you turn a bit, to release the air out of radiator. carefully, may have hot steam or water. keep it, until the air is changed for water stream, than you close it. do it in all the radiators at your place.

Scandinavian:

yup, and then you do it to all other radiators in the building, otherwise the problem will be back really soon. It's classic lack of maintenance, a well maintained water based heating system will be silent and require no actions at the heaters.

TedDBayer:

Have the building owner do it, the bleeder valves are probably so corroded that they will break and flood your apartment.

A:I ain't sure if this will help, but I used to say ...:"Never stop sending your CVs, not even if you already have an interview invitation!" MS degree is completed online ... That might be the reason 'cause I don't think employer in China can secure legal Working permit by presenting degree completed online. TEFL Course completed online was/is acceptable, but I'm not sure about your MS ... Have a look at the requirements for Z visa in China ...  Good luck! -- icnif77
