Q: What is it with chinese girls and their problem with guys drinking?!!!!!!
My wife has no problem with my drinking at all, I don't know what you're talking about. She doesn't like it when I come home at 4 in the morning and take a piss in the living room, but she's got no problem with my drinking, none whatsoever.

In the corner of course, what do you think I am, an animal?
WhiteBear:
better to have some piss-resistant flowers in that corner ![]()

i cant speak for your wife, but ive seen plenty of situations where my friends have an argument with their gf because he wants to stay out and drink with his friends and its not just him, last time this happened my friend passed the phone to me and with my broken chinese i asked the girl is it ok if he stays out and drinks with us and she said ok loool
It is like mobile network..wherever you will go..they will follow..
My gf has no problem with my drinking although she complains I spend too much in the bar.
But if I come home after 4 am she thinks I have been with another girl.![]()
because when the girl (GF) dance around the pole later she will get all those alcohol making her drunk....she likes fresh................![]()
People who do not drink scare me, how do they cope with all this on a daily basis? Beer and music are the only things that make sense anymore.
Sounds like you're just around the wrong person.
I can't say I've ever experienced this in China. It's always been the opposite for me, I'm always a bit suprised that my wife and the women in her family don't complain about how often I drink.
For foreigners like us it's easy to come to China and see someone act a way and think "why do Chinese people act this way" when in reality most dont. I think this is whats happening to you, obviously the women/woman your around complains about drinking, but I certainly don't think that's normal or a common trait of women in China.
According to TCM alchohol abuse will shorten your life. According to Chinese culture there is no such thing as moderation, so if you drink you drink to much, despite the wisdom of TCM saying that a little is OK. There is no grey zone in Yin-Yang.
There is some BS on the topic here http://www.shen-nong.com/eng/lifestyles/tcmrole_health_maintenance_habits.html
