There are some I always bring, such as aspirin, garlic tablets and a product to counteract dehydration.
10 years 44 weeks ago in Health & Safety - China
bc or goodys headache powders for those fake alcohol nights that are hell the next morning.
The wife brings in Fish oil and Coligin by suitcase I bring head ake tablets and ant acids
Pain killers, something to make you go and something to make you stop (toilet wise).
I bring multivitamins and ibuprofen aka Advil.
I can't resist - most people use water to counteract dehydration. What else is there?
sorrel:
even drinking water, I get very dehydrated so I use something to replace excessive salts loss, which is why I bring this product with me. Also recommended as a hang-over cure!
sounds like an easy target for some tcm stuff to counter dehydration, unless you are above 60 or have an extremely strange set of medical conditions I'd say drink some water and eat an apple instead of funding the producers of what is salts and sugars at higher prices than what supermarkets charge. I you are concerned about loosing salt I think you will last very few days in China
Bring some painkillers of your choice and maybe multivitamins but unless you are going to be in the far north your normal diet year round will have enough vitamins. maybe viagra
ample supply of antihistamine and motrim...fast acting quick meds in time of need.
I brought tylenol and an antibotic for food poisoning which I never took. I found it weird that if someone had a headache they went to the hospital for a shot, but if I offered tylenol, they didn't want to take drugs.

Lol! I know what you mean.
Just last week, my fiance had a cold, so I again offered her some Nyquil. At first she refused. I then pointed out that I have always tried what she suggests(TCM) and if she would try it once, I would never bug her again. So she agreed.
She took some, went to bed early and the next day, she woke up feeling great! Did not go to the hospital "for injection".
I find valium is needed when doing business in China...
Aspirin: no need, local voodoo headache powder works.
Collis brown for diarrhea is a must though, or immodium. Drinking beer here turns tough men into blenders - I can only assume it's the added waste products that never get picked up by the diligent and highly trained quality inspectors.
Bonjella for mouth ulcers in my opinion is important. Since sometimes I literally can't seem to buy fruit without bugs in it which totally grosses me out and temporarily halts my fruitiness (and why do they use so many chemicals if they don't kill anything?!!!).
Anti depressants haha.
GuilinRaf:
Oh, wait, I think i read booze is a depressant....
Dang! That makes me sad!
Better open another bottlle....
alka seltzer fish oil grape seed w/resveratrol bayer aspirn calcium magnesium tablets
I took me cough syrup and one of them bottles that I get to play with when I'm bored...Brought some cream for me scars....and a little bit of that herbal medicine if you know what I mean.............................
