Q: What is the most uncomfortably honest thing a Chinese person has told you?

A lot of times they are indirect, but sometimes they are too direct, and it hurts!

A coworker once told me she was going home early because she was bloody.

RachelDiD:

Haha, when I first came to China, I couldn't believe how acceptable it is here for women to skip work for that reason. Sometimes, I resented the way the culture  doesn't take women seriously, but then I saw Chinese women. And all I could think was, 'Nope. These idiots don't want to be taken seriously.'

The question seems to be paradoxical.

Chinese: "You are so big"
Me: "That's what Chinese girls said"
Chinese: *Angry stares* + *bullshit comments about race treason*

I know they mean fat, which I am not, but it's always hilarious to hit them where it hurts then watch them go apeshit and bark like little dogs since Chinese have zero rhetoric.

A former coworker who claimed to like women told me that he and his guy friends would get together, rub toothpaste and their dicks and see who could shoot first.

rasklnik:

That would chafe, like crazy...toothpaste has sodium in it.

I'm always fond of when they say laduzi upon returning from the restroom-even if we're at the dinner table.

Chinese friend: "I miss my girlfriend all the time, but I can't afford to buy an apartment so her parents won't let her see me" *

MissA: "Ummmmmm,more beer?"

MrA: "Boy talk time. Piss off."

* I met the girl and yes, that's pretty much how it went down.

That would be when a student would told us on Thanksgiving how we should all...

"Thanks our mother... I think everyone should thank their mother... we should all thank our mothers!"

Now, change "thanks" with "fwuacks" (cause that's how he pronounced it) and that's why all judges were cringing at the event...

We told the student after and his face look horrified.

Not what someone said but what they did. An old boss and his friend bought a prostitute to my hotel room when I was lying in bed with a hangover. They wanted to watch me have sex with her. I did not oblige.
