"Western style food" .. with so many good choices for Chinese food near me I still have cravings for Western food. Luckily there's McD's, Starbucks and a newly open Pizzahut nearby.
TedDBayer:
I had a BigMac in China, why is the center of the paddie gray? PizzaSlut,,gag, the last time I brought one home, I opened the box, then folded the box and pizza and garbaged it, Frozen pizza has more on it.

ted,
compared to all the other pizzas i've tried at chinese pizza joints..pizzahut is by far the most edible for me!
TedDBayer:
Sharons in Guilin has an edible one, I can eat 2, I had another in a restaurant and couldn't even eat it. I never felt like going in western franchises when I wouldn't at home. I don't even go to Tim Hortons
Nessquick:
I very like Pepe Johns Pizza, they make also thin ones and do not put the crazy white sweet mayo or what things is that. Also, at pizzaslut, i have got always only artificial meet, similar to the dog food granules But last visit at pepe got same experience with "chicken meat" so next time i go only for salami piza. yummyyyyy
internet, health, and money.

Airports, so I can get out of here once in a while.
My X-Box, my sax, my kid and my wife (because I think she's standing behind me). Yeh, I know that's not 'one' thing but then maths never was my strong point.
The blocking and tacklilng skills of American football. How else to get a seat on the bus?
Internet, probably 90% of my free time is on the internet. Although my VPN is the reason I'm on the internet so much I wouldn't have the one without the other.
People who talk about the internet make a great point. Could you IMAGINE what it was like here in the mid-to-late 90s for expats?

internet for sure. had to go 3 months out here once with no internet at home. it was so bad i nearly packed my stuff and left for good. it's a bit sad/shocking how much we rely on the internet nowadays.
2nd thing would be friends/girlfriend who can speak engilsh. without people helping translate for me in many situations i don't think i'd survive out here.
