If you could add something that is important to you that you would want to share with someone else 100 yrs later what would it be?
In honor of kchur's decay of the english language, I'd include an Oxford dictionary.
I'd add my sabertooth tiger skull and go buy one of those blue Obama shaped dildos and a bag of spicy Cheetos. Let future historians try to figure out what all that means.
I guess I would put a photobook. I'm not sure what photos would be in it, maybe a collection of places I have gone and the people I know. Pictures can say a lot, more than technology and other objects.
I think the whole idea of time capsules is outdated. With computers and the record keeping skills of our generation there would be no need to remember anything more then what we have.
Even pictures can be stored and reviewed years later. Maybe a Kmart sign would be about it as they will all soon be going by the way of the doodoo
