Q: At what point does venting become whining?

Not been a regular here for some time and only came back on to ask a quicky about study apps for a new phone. Logged in just now to find nothing but a down-thumb. Cheers, that was useful.

Anyway, I think you are mostly a decent bunch, I just reckon, life being kind of f***ing short an' all, that a little effort to get the f*** on with what world you've chosen to surround yourself with is probably not the worst idea you could have. For me this site is kind of a downer, and i've got another kid on the way, I can't afford the luxury of having a downer on where I live, i've gotta make good with what i've got for the sake of my seed. (F***ing wife's so big now that with the cesarian from the last escapade she looks like Homer Simpson from the neck down. With a goaty).

Anyway, cheerio you bunch of miscreants. And a quick spoiler for you: the grass is just as green on both sides. They use a spray. F***ing loaded with CFCs, but it looks pretty.

Congrats on 2nd kid.

No worries for down votes. There's somebody (or more), who down any Q or reply. We talked about it last week.

Hey, it's normal for expat websites I've been on in various countries. I hear expat websites in ME countries like Egypt are far more negative about their chosen country.

Seems like venting becomes whining when it no longer serves any purpose. And I guess when the only response to your question is something you get by google, seems like the forum loses its usefulness.

Congrats on the added offspring. I am glad someone is doing something to keep this country from the problems of under-population.

As for whining versus venting. To tell the differences, speak out what you want to say, does it sound most like nails on a chalk-board or most like a slowly seeping fart ?

Yeah that's probably true...but what the hell else is there to do around here?

We had a new joint open up in town recently where it's real cool to sit and drink beer.  I was going to ride there this afternoon and read my book over a few coldies.  But laziness has prevented that.
