Q: what qualities do chinese women value in a husband besides wealth or an ipad?

I had this discussion with a Chinese female friend of mine. She said she wants a man who is trustworthy/reliable/marriageable/ wants kids.
I know a Chinese gal who also mentioned that she wants a guy who is patient and a good listener.
Have good temper/character. I hear this a lot from my female students.
honesty and not driking in my opinino......my girlfriend had a biyfriend who is a policeman he used to drink everyday and fight with her.she broke up with him for me........i guess i should quit drinking if i want to have her as a girlfriend and i don't know what should i do if i want to marry her?!!!!!!

You seem like a pretty good guy. Don't even worry about marriage at this point mate, nor should you let anyone pressure you into that.
If you really care for your gal, work on establishing a good relationship and foundation with her. (patience,understanding,learning likes and dislikes,communication,etc.)
