Q: What rules would you like to see in China?
There are many differences between our native countries and China, and I am NOT trying to change China into the UK / USA / Aus or anywhere else, however, what rules or regulations from your own native country (assuming you aren't Chinese) would you like to see in China?
For me, I would like to see some system of 'indefinite leave to remain' or green card, whereby either by marriage or exceptional talent, and with qualifying clauses and perhaps some limitations, an immigrant can legally reside work and live in China, permanently.

China does not need more rules, they just need to OBEY the ones they have!
That said, yes, having a "Chinese Green Card" (sorry nevermind!) would really be great!

(though, I don't really care about this 'green card' business.... just slightly laxer policies... and tighter scrutiny so we foreigners don't get screwed over by the ever increasing scams).

I'd like to see set prices on goods and services, I get fed up of having my prices being bumped up because my eyes are a slightly different shape.
I would like to see many rules but the first for me would be strictly enforced food hygiene standards so that people could trust what they were eating and drinking.
A no-child policy. Would have made my job a lot easier

It would have made mine a lot more difficult, teaching requires young learners and young learners need to start as children.
It would have made domestic life a lot cheaper though, but a lot more boring!
traffic laws need to be stricly enfoced if nothing else this would be my 1st priorty if i was an official no more driving on the wrong side of the road no more driving at night w/o your lights on no more electric bikes running threw the intersection when the light is red they put people in danger the goverment needs to start taking these peoples cars and bikes away from them if they cant follow the law and endanger lives
There are so many areas of Chinese society that I would love to see changed. Standard hygiene rules for selling food, kitchens and bathrooms, personal pride in your living space, applying a little common sense in everything that you do.
Having said that, I'm a working guest in your country. I'm free to go or stay. My choice. Most Chinese have no choice.
One of my biggest complaints about Canada is the over-regulation of EVERYTHING, so I am cool with putting up with day to day irritants here.
I would like to see the law of gravity repealed. I think it would be great fun to see 1.6 billion people floating about.

nothing wrong with the chinese law they have their own rules and you must respect that, but it would be nice to see certain laws enforced, starting with what traffic laws, bad riving causes traffic learning to follow the rules on the street will save gas and get you from a to b asap, but no motorist has respect for another person sharing the road im sure if you ask your chinese friends they will tell you the same thing
I hope there would be one more rule, people with stinky mouth should be forbidden to go outside.
I would be happy if the current laws on the books were actually enforced without bias and cronyism. Most of the crap that happens everyday is actually against the law but rarely enforced...escpecially if you have some guanxi or bribe money.
