Q: What should I see before I go Home?
My job in HangZhou is finished next week , but before I go what should I make time to see?
I doubt I will be back here in the near future so it's my last chance to have a look at China.
Any recommendations ?

How much time and money do you have? 1. take a train about 300 km west to Yellow Mountain in Anhui. Bring a defibrilator. If the climb up doesn't stop your heart, the stunning view certainly will. 2. Keep going west to Fenghuang, Hunan aka Phoenix Ancient Town. There are many old towns in China but this one is my favorite. This is the China from the Kung Fu movies. It is also close to Zhangjiajie if you want to view more epic scenery (warning: dont enter ZJJ with less than 500元 or you may be disappointed or die from exhaustion). 3. Continuing west, you may want to stop in Guangzhou now. Here you can feast on all kinds of delicious western and middle eastern foods, probably including your country (China's biggest African community is there). Outside of Beijing, I think GZ has the widest variety of delicious food. Now, continue west to Yunnan. There is no fast train so flying is best. There are so many beautiful places to see here, I cant even know where to begin, but use Kunming as your base station. While you're there, check out the Dynamic Yunnan Dance Show, the best dance performance I have ever seen in China. It is well worth the ticket price. Be sure to buy some coffee to take home with you. Greens beans, if possible, so you can roast them yourself and try to buy directly from the farms or in the market. Sorry this is so disorganized, I'm writing on my phone. If you have a month in China, you can do all these things, take fabulous photos to share with family and friends, and have memories of tastes and sights and sounds to last a lifetime. have fun.

FYI - The Kadicha Man (Kurdaitcha) is a ritual executioner from Australian Aboriginal culture. He can kill by pointing bones and sneaks up on his intended culprit wearing kudiatchas - shoes that make him silent made from feathers, human hair and his blood.....woooo

Check out the second hand bedroom furniture available there. You might get a bargain!

As mentioned above, yellow mountain is well worth seeing and easy and cheap to get to from Hangzhou.
Have you been to Beijing? The city itself is terrible, but with the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer palace etc... it does have some of the most recognizable tourist sites on the planet. The kind of stuff you might regret not seing whilst you were here. It's relatively easy to fly/train in, blitz the sites then fly out again a few days later.
Similar can be said about Nanjing. Famous sites, although not on the scale of Beijing, but not a great city. Also it's even easier to get to from Hangzhou.
If you are a happy person, you can easily see happiness everywhere.
