Q: What is the situation with the "Woody Islands"?
I heard all the news about the islands in the southern part of the South China Sea but my buddy back home told me Japan is going to get a World Court ruling on the "Woody Islands" and I never heard of them. WTF?

Its part of the Paracels and has been controlled by the PRC since 1956
Japan is not making any claims. Disputes here are between PRC, Taiwan and Vietnam.
