Q: What types of benefits do chinese citizens receive if they join the military?

If a citizen of China were to decide to join a military branch USAF, Army, Navy, Marines what types of benefits would they receive? I already joined the USAF and received health benefits(VA) as well as education benefits(GI. BILL). Does anybody know what the benefits for a citizen of China joining the military could be?

that's why it is easy to peg you for a wu mao , you pull info from the net or common knowledge and you spit it out like a computer, as if it is part of your background. but book knowledge cant take the place of actual experience. i've worked with many vets and i never met anyone refer to the air force as usaf. or use "health benefits(VA)" "education benefits(GI. BILL)" these are formal terms not used in conversation those are just some of mistakes you make .

but i'll bite one of the best and easiest way to raise your status is by joining the police force or military. cars, housing and you could break the law almost at will

You never met anybody refer it to USAF and use those terms because you don't know everybody in the world + you never joined. I bet you never heard the term Airmen either huh?

A citizen of china joining the USAF? Um. No.

Tell me, "fly boy", what other benefits did you receive in the USAF? What did you do? Shine the tires? where were you stationed?

Do you happen to know the nicknames of the service men/women of the other branches of the US military?

mattaya:

The only thing that you may have to know is that I served and I'm still receiving the benefits. You should be thankful not ungrateful that somebody served your country and fought for your freedom. You have so many questions. Why don't you just join and find out?

Darlin, I know. I have more military experience than you and your wannabe imaginary friends will ever have combined, and all I did was grow up a squid kid and then marry a grunt (who went to med school with his GIB).

I was in the Air Force.  What was your job code?

As far as benefits go, it highly depends on rank, how pretty you are and who your relatives are.  But basically they are like Crimo pointed out.

mattaya:

2T337 MC&A (maintenance control & analysis) 37 LRS Logistics Readiness Squadron...stationed at Lackland AFB, San Antonio TX. Tech School (Port Hueneme, CA)

What was yours?

Well... Lackland is mainly the basic training center for the Air Force. Port Hueneme, as I recall, is a naval base, not Air Force. But, it is the military, so anything is possible.

No way, Jose !  You should have picked another branch of the military, but the AF will not allow a "foreigner" to fly a US plane unless he is fully investigated and gets his clereances.  And a Chinese national will not pass the test.

I do know a Chinese who was born in Hong Kong, emigrated to USA at 14 years of age, became a resident (got GC)was drafted into the Army, fought in Vietnam, and upon returning to US was granted citizenship.  He does have full benefits as any native, because once you are allowed to join, you get all benefits you are entitled to.

Again, you picked the Air Force, the hardest to get in.  On top, with so common Chinese poor eyesight, that is another indication you have no idea of what you are talking about.

mattaya:

"And a chinese national will not pass the test". Then that means the USAF failed and we don't like that. The Air Force has foreign officers that come and learn. They had foreigners flying in from around the world and the USAF helped them learn English as we also learn many different languages in order to become a linguistic. If you pass the linguistic test you get paid extra money every two weeks. Shows how much you know.  The USAF does not only work with Americans we work with a lot of different nationalities so if you say somebody from another country would fail that means the USAF would fail and that my friend is something we both don't want now isn't it?

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
