I know that beauty is subjective, but what would be considered a knock out in SoCal or in Vancouver, is not even given the time of day here by local men!
I don't get it, but I will reap the rewards from the local lack of interest!
Is it because Chinese men are whoafully vain, or lost in their own cultural standards of beauty?
Oh, and try dating a a girl considered hot by locals...they will hate you regardless!

Guys are same everywhere. Big boobs, long legs, long hair, attractive eyes....it's really depends on individual...A guy I know, I think he likes girls dress like a whore! He is well educated!
My personal observation tho, Chinese guys don't have a specific definition about beauty they like, they just follow with the flow. Like many Chinese dont have an idea what they like or dont like. Flexible character makes them change all the time, not to stick on one kind of beauty!
***geeze im bored today!
it is called being an empty vessel with no true identity, a drone. i have seen guys with all different types of girls but most want a very skinny girl that makes them look bigger by comparision but not the very short girls which i love. i love short thick women with curves and breasts
I noticed older women (over 30) are neglected here. a pity for them. good for me. Women get better as they age, a fact lost on Chinese men.
LAR:
"I noticed............neglected here." It IS a pity and is pathetic..as it is for divorced or separated Chinese women. Hence, the stupid and disrespectful "leftover women" label. :( Yep, also good for me and MANY other Western/foreign guys.

Hahaha. I'm kidding... Well, not really. EVERY man in China I think knows who she is. But overall:
Physically, these features seem to be the most desirable by men in China (of course, individual ideals will vary, but just look at the ads and billboards you see here):
- Pale skin (the lighter and whiter the better)
- Big, almond shaped eyes or round eyes with a "double eyelid"
- Tall, but with a petite frame
- A "pumpkin seed" shaped face
- and #1 - A youthful appearance.
Small eyes, large lips, freckles, a flat nose and high cheek bones are all considered unattractive according to some research.
Even for western women, look to the ads in China to see what's attractive to the general ideals. I don't find many of the western women used in marketing campaigns here to be super-attractive, nor the Chinese women in ads. In fact, I think some of them are just plain unattractive, but this is my personal opinion.
Ask any Chinese man if they find Angelina Jolie to be hot. I'll bet 99% of them say no.
Big eyes, small mouth, white skin, long hair, skinny like skull (I really hate this fact!) ...

Actually Njord... According to the list, it should be one of those grey aliens in a long black wig.
I dont think things like skinny or big boobs are quite as important here as they are in the west. If a girl is really pretty in the face but otherwise a bit plump then guys can defiantly over look that fact. Standards of beauty in the face way out rank standards of beauty in the body. Unfortunately, Chinese women seem to put every spare ounce of fat they have on their faces first. So a girl who is overweight but still conforms to the standards of beauty is pretty rare.
