Mr Cat: hope my avatar is not offensive to you or any member, now that you called attention to it. I was a common visitor of your section for weeks, and surprised at the number of no brains and stupid answers I read. That is the reason for the avatar. When I became a member and started to participate, I realize that many just do to accumulate points and get something for free. And we all call Chinese to be full of greed. Well, better shut up before I get in trouble.

Perhaps I should have added a smiley after that comment. I was being playful. I thought about calling you lot a bunch of lecherous scallywags, but I thought your picture illustrated that quite nicely.
I'd venture so far as saying Mr. Tibbles' avatar was chosen for similar reasons as the ones you mentioned.
