Q: What is the wierdest school activity you've seen ?

A nearby college has a pretty nice campus, and I often walk my dog there (yes, I pick up after the dog)

Walking there I see lots of these teenagers doing different things, and actually often it is pretty uplifting to see them capable of being just young people.

However, recently at the school stadium I have often seen them run two and two where they have a leg tied together, they then do 400 meter timed runs like this ?

But the one thing that struck me as most strange (or sexist if you must) was today, when I saw a group of girls, out of normal school uniform, but with lots of makeup, and then they were pouring tea. Like a display of how to properly pour tea. Wtf ?

a middle school pe class where the students, young ladies are doing aerobic dancing to the song "one night in bangkok makes a hard man humble", did not have the heart to tell them what the song was really about, or the british teacher forced to teach the class a song and taught them "god save the queen" and nobody noticed at the performance that this might not be a good idea. silent priceless humor for my bad china days.
