See Yingzhou Dental Hospital if they have clinic in your city. Cost of one implant is from 1000 - 5000 RMB, depends on material and model/Co. used. Lowest price was for 'all metal' and S.Korean firm and French implants&teeth, all ceramic were the most expensive.

Dentists working at Yingzhou are truly masters of the trade.

I've completed entire redo of me chew (some 12 implants for 14k RMB, all ceramic) this year and all work was done very well.

Best part of repair is: my speech didn't change after new teeth were mounted.

Yingzhou Dental Hospital and their entire staff will always be 'bright light of my China memories'.

5000-7000rmb...go to a hospital dentist

Hotwater:

That’s cheap. I was quoted 10,000 in Guangzhou. Though it wasn’t the dental hospital but a private dental surgery

Go to Hong Kong, too expensive in China. I believe China charges the same or more than the US now.

I had to get one of my front teeth replaced, and since it was something that was going to be seen regularly every time I smiled or opened my mouth, I wanted to ensure it was done well.  Not to mention that a dental implant is basically a surgery, with your jaw being drilled into and whatnot...and I figured I'd rather pay more than get lousy results.

So that being said, I went to the Beijing United Family hospital to get it done, where everything was done perfectly and with utmost precision.  The downside was the cost, as it ran me about 30k.  So about the same cost as the US, and the same level of service (in fact, they were even better than my dentist back home).  I did choose the best quality materials they had to offer though, again, figuring spend more now to not spend more down the road.

I can't comment on what it would have cost to get it done at a local hospital...but I can say with certainty that I wouldn't get it done at any of the local hospitals where I live (middle of nowhere).
