Q: What would you do if your wife's parents get sick?
You don't speak Chinese, you wouldn't understand what Chinese doctors have to say. What can you do to help if your wife's parents get sick and she need you to take them to hospital, how does this communicating thing with the medicals work?

I would let my wife do the talking. If she is not around then Google Translate is always there.
Take them to the hospital you just have to escort them probably pay too.
Been in this situation myself except I speak enough to get help. It does not matter where you are even up North where we go You will find somebody who can speak enough English that between the Parents ,yourself and who ever you find (usally mid School Student ) you will get by and if not there is always sign laugauge . Great question
Pray for a swift painless death.
If it's not going well take matters into your own hands.
Wheel them in and ask ''he'', let the doctor figure it out.
Take them to the hospital, and More Important with my smart phone with Translation software
