Q: What is your favorite movie in China?
I mean when you've had a bad China Day...your wife/girlfriend is nagging you...you are missing home and need an escape...what is your go to movie to forget for a while you are in China.
I'm personally a sucker for the Godfather...follwed by II.

Kingdom of Heaven, Star wars, Gladiator, one of too many comedies to mention.
Same here! I also like to watch repeatedly Goodfellas, Casino, Thinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Gatekeepers.......and some 70 other movies I have on G-Drive.

I think, I watched that flick some months ago, or I couldn't download it. It's movie since long time ago.
Die hard 1,2,3 and sometimes 4... 5 nah, not as good as other 4

Good choices...There's Something About Mary is in my top 10....great movie.
But I'm not sure about this Big Lebowski...is it a good movie...does the Dude abide?
chinese movie i'd say wuxia, with donnie yen. Is really worth to watch, given your chinese is fluently.
With good chinese skills i'd say most movies of Feng Xiaogang and Jiangwen.
