Q: What is your favourite Chinese nationalistic phrase?
I don't have one but I do remember sitting in a lesson once when one of my students started laughing about the chanting we could hear from the school playground next door where students were doing their morning exercises. The chant was "Protect your eyes for the revolution." Inspiring, what?

I don't like nationalistic phrases and ideology in the UK, so I'm sure as hell not going to listen to them here. Then again with my level of Chinese comprehension that is ridiculously easy, (not listening to them that is).
Maybe this one is not really nationalistic but my favourite is "(...Insert name of person or countery here..) has hurt the feelings of the Chinese people.".

It's funny to me because the islands never belonged to them. Ignorance ftw!

(but we ban any access of filming that shows just how peaceful it really was).
