It seems in China the variety of soft drinks is quite large. So any soft drink you would never find home that you enjoy drinking in these hot summer days?
I'm quite into those pear flavored drinks and a blueberry flavored tea. Don't know exactly the brand but the taste is fabulitious.
not really a soft drink. But each morning and afternoon I grab a pocari sweat (Japanese drink).
cold Pepsi
Hugh.G.Rection:
If I'm drinking cola it absolutely HAS to be Pepsi!
I remember winning two bottles on a ferry just by a taste test, Coke, Pepsi and some brand they were promoting, EASY!
However, when I was visiting an Uncle in Atlanta (Home of Coca-cola) that made me a tad unusual! I did the Coca-cola tour and at the end you get to go to the souvenir shop and get some free Coke, I was SOOO tempted to ask for Pepsi, but I chickened out.
王老吉 or JDB (can't remember exactly, 加多-something). Closest thing to sweet tea I can find around here.
BING HONG CHA! Have to make sure it's the one in the red red bottle though, there's another one that tastes like toilet cleaner.
I also like mai dong, but that's partly because it sounds rude.
Wait there, how can I forget; zhenzhu naicha! That stuff is delicious, with the little black things you suck up through the straw. Wasai!
mArtiAn:
No, but I think I know mizone, it's a power drink, right. No, mai dong is a sport drink, kind of flavoured water, largish, blue bottle.
has anybody else noticed that coke and Pepsi have a different taste in other country's?
for me Pepsi in China tastes like Coke does in Australia
icnif77:
Coke and Pepsi are both exported as concentrate, then mixed with the local water.
If water in the area contains loads of Chlorine, Coke tastes different than in USA. Coke and Pepsi in Ocho Rios, Jamaica or on any other Caribbean Island taste same as pool water, because all water on the Islands is heavily chlorinated.
At the moment, beer is the softest drink i will have....
Hugh.G.Rection:
I LOVE the idea but I'm not too sure my DOS would approve of me having a beer in the classroom!
Original Coke only. I tried Pepsi but I found it too sweet.
Otherwise, Milk Tea soft drink.
Compare to Europe, I find that here the ice-tea is really disgusting.
In China? - Mirinda, with taste of cherry, carboned.
Abroad? - Russian traditional drink KWAS with (raddish)
i only like soft drink with ciggrate and in soft drinks i like ice tea most
I like ROotbeer. I think they've started selling rootbeer where I'm at. Not sure when they started to sell this, but I walked into a convenient store the other day and found some Root Beer!
