The problem with your question, Lolitta, is that there is no place for debates nor discussion in your question. I mean, once there is an answer it becomes totally moot.
Maybe you could have made a little thinking and ask as a secondary question "how to negotiate the wage" so people could make funny comments, but no, you decided to ask a closed question that buries other questions with the potential to be funny. It's really no surprise that after 12 hours, nobody answered it.
It seems you want to get your points (maybe you need a VPN) but please, as part of the community, you should work your way to make this website a fun place and not a low tier version of google.
As a pointer, here's a nice question you should ask yourself before clicking the "submit" button : "would I ask this question if I was in a gathering with friends?" The answer for the avg wage of an ayi is obviously "no", so please refrain.

450rmb/month.
2days a week, 2hours/day.
This is what my boss(Canadian) get.
Fair pricing I think.

I pay 3000rmb month. 6 days, 10 hours each. Not live in.
It will depend heavily on the type of work you wish them to do, the frequency of their visits and the length of time you employ them. If a part time for a couple of weeks, or just a couple of days per week, salary requested will be higher if it is a long term arrangement, every day type of job offer.
But I will say that depending on the work to be done, like if it includes cleaning, laundry and cooking, you will be expected to pay from 15 to 20 Rmb per hour worked, plus meals. And if the ayi is the live-in type, monthly salary should start in the 2500 to 3000 Rmb range
The neighbor introduced us their a yi , she comes twice a week, each time 3 hours. 20 rmb per hour. She works for about 12 families in this community.
Let's just say after the full day's of work they will still be starving!
It depends on where you live, how you get her and as previously people said in how you negotiate, how often she goes and what she does.
It wont be the same price in Zhangjiang (perhaps many people don't even know what is that haha), People's square & Gubei.
