Q: What's the best Chinese love movie of all times?

Please note that I want to know which LOVE movies. I recently saw the remake of What Women Want with Gong Li and thought it sucked. Any other good Chinese love movies?

Actually, Wenna is wrong (again).

You should try the year 2046... as in the film 2046 by Wong Kar Wai. It's the sequel loosely based on the original, 'In The Mood For Love'. Both of these are long, dreamy Chinese romance movies with great characters and subtle cinematography. They're beautifully shot and well acted, and if you're prone to some leaky-eye histrionics, you may well find yourself sobbing by the end.

Ludovico understands 2046, wow~ i am amazed, as that movie is quiet meaningful, shallow people like me cannot understand it.

I thought Confucius was a nice love story, love in the broadest sense. Unless you're longing for prince charming. Red Cliff had also nice love. Love for power, for territories. Unless your love is limited to a single person. What is love? I said what what, in the love!

I like "Green Snake", but it had kind-of a downer ending. I was hoping they'd kill the bald man and affirm their true love forever.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
