Like being told that the ACTUALLY healthy food I'm eating is NOT HEALTHY because it's NOT CHINESE, then being given "healhy" Chinese food, which the primary ingredients are oil, sugar, MSG, pig fat, and "cai". Yeah, sorry, that has more calories in it than a Big Mac meal.

probably one of the main reasons for break-ups is the same reason for break-ups all over the world. Lack of communication on a meaningful level and lack of compatibility.

In Laws

I just had a friend of mine break up with his girl because she could handle anal sex. No joke. It was a laugh for us, but he's drinking hard over the loss.

Cultural difference

I think it is the miscommunication that Is the problem. 

For me, it was being fast tracked to marriage.  She was ready for me to meet the parents less than a month into our relationship .  Not sure how I survived the following 6 months without breaking it off sooner.

I think that can be expanded to say laowai/Asian, to include Vietnamese, Thailand, Laos, Japanese and former Soviet states and India.  I've seen, that unless the western person (man or woman) is socially enhanced, i.e. prestigiously affluent socially, financially or wherever the family, friends and in-laws would consider him/her "acceptable"  then, that given all things equal, there remains that bigoted idea that culture trumps love. 

Then as the others say, without good communication up front, or even a recognition of the cultural strains popping up, the relationship will eventually fall apart or at least not lead to marriage.

Regarding certain emotional expectations from Asian women or men, though, that can be just a refusal for a western cultured person to accept those expecations as a priority in relationships. Especially with China's social traditions and expectations, to us westerners, China today appears to be about how WE were socially in 1955. Women expecting the man to incessantly "chase" after her, to accept her emotional rants and jealous rages as part of the normal relationship, and the Chinese man expecting the western woman to be impressed by his accomplishments and to often submit to his commands, cower to his abuse and forgive his bouts of infidelity.   

Bad Breath...nobody likes bad breath. They have different senses...just like how someone from one country likes to eat a particular food. For example in India they love to eat Curry so they smell like Curry sometimes...in Korea they like eating Kimchi so they smell like Kimchi Sometimes.....etc., 

Cultural differences and language barriers aside, the BIGGEST reason for him is this:

He wants to go home after X number of years of riding the world's craziest roller coaster called China. Years in which he's aged two-fold, three-fold in half the chronological passing of time. He's tired and wants to live civilly again. And she stays for any number of reasons.

There are different reasons for this as:

Culture difference: Chinese girls mostly live in the world of dreams. They took lot of influence from the Chinese TV programs and think they are the center of man's life. They are materialistic So, they suppose to be treated well like have gifts from their BF frequently, they like like to use bad words for their boyfriends but want to listen good words from BF. BF(foreigner) should spend lot of money on them and their family but shouldn't spend money on their(BF's) parents. She slowly slowly try to control everything like money, property and even BF in many ways. They can do whatever they want(even BF doesn't like) to do but if BF do the same thing then they be angry. You should buy nice apartment and car for her and spend lot of money only on marriage depends on the location (from 50.000-300,000 RMB). You should be good at drinking, If you are not good at drinking then they will be crazy especially if you are with their family.

Chinese girls are brute and short temper this is one of the biggest reason too. They get angry soon and stop talking and start showing face and even shouting without caring the people around them.

One of the most important reason what i think is if they want to get some information about relationship or any particular nationality people they use Chinese websites only. They never try to check the culture of that nations from English sites. So, in my point of view they know nothing out of China, their whole world is China.

One of the most important reason is that she is influenced greatly by her parents especially mother and sisters. Whatever they say she believe that even it is wrong no matter how much you are on right. She always think that she is smart enough and BF is stupid and know nothing.

Plenty of reasons listed above but I think most of it can really be summed up as cultural differences between the partners. This can then include communication issues due to lack of understanding the other person's perspective or point of view. Likewise it could and often does cause conflicts as the relatively more modern western cultures clash with the traditional and slow Chinese culture.

I look it up on the NHS website "no, cervical errosion normally heals by its self, but form the look of the picture they have taken of your cervix i would say you have a yest infection that your body is already healing,, look at the pictures here... as for cervical errosion leading to cancer, take a look at this research paper that says its a dated vew with no grounds at all".

Girl tells Dr.

Dr  "are you chinese or not? if  you are chinese, you need to use chiense meds".

I cut in "people are people, you want more money, every picture on your wall is about cervical errosion and the only sign on the way in here was about cervical erosion, I say you are incorrect and are prescribing things that are not needed"

i get removed from the room by 2 nurses who want me to wait downstairs, at the same time they take the girl to another floor.

30 minutes later she comes down stairs after spending 4,000rmb of my money and saying she needs anothe 4k for the next 6 days followed by an operation.

DO YOU NOT LISTEN LAS??? ITS BULLSH!T, I BET EVERY WOMAN WHO COMES IN HERE IS DIAGNOSED WITH THE SAME THING!!!!! IF IT WAS CERVICAL EROSION IT IS HARMLESS, YOU DO NOT NEED AN OPERATION OR DRUGS, BUT THE PICTURES THEY TOOK OF YOUR CERVICAL AREA LOOKS LIKE A YEAST INFECTION, ITS A BIT RED, IT COULD EVEN BE FROM SEX LAST NIGHT!!!!!!

I never trust a chinese dr when there is a woman involved. I have also gone to a hospital and been told what i have and given a male cream for it (60rmb total) I then took my wife to a womans hospital to get the female pill for it, 200rmb for tests, before the test results had come, they were treating her. why test is your going to treat before knowing the test answers??? 426 rmb later we leave the hospital again being told to come back the next day.... i call BS. we go to a pharmacy and buy a 30rmb tablet for her to take, problem solved.

Money? Rumors said that the famous media boss Murdoch broke up with his young Chinese wife for money.

I'll tell you what happened to my marriage to a once lovely Chinese gentleman.

1. Too much interference from his parents (I waste money, I travel too much instead of saving money (earned by me, so why should the goddam parents care?), I can't take care of the baby etc.)

2. To a Chinese person you will never be THE ONE, his number one. Mama comes first and whatever crap she says is the law in the family. He will never be on your side. Mama is always right even though she only went to primary school and has lived in the village all her life. 

3. Chinese men care too much about houses and cars and beer and QQ and friends, and will make love with you once every three months if you demand it. They treat you as a sister and a housewife. Not a single goddam flower or a visit to a restaurant after marriage. Why bother if momma cooks at home?

Wanna be happy with a Chinese person? Choose not only the person from a big city, but also his parents, have a pre-nuptial agreement, give your kids your nationality and live FAR away from his parents.
