Q: What's the craziest thing you have ever done?
For me,i rode from Changchun to Tian'anmen Square in Beijing with an used bicycle i bought for 90 Yuan when i was in university.I did it with a roommate,we rode about 1200 km in half and ten days.We bought a tent but used it only once as it was summer,the temperature was too high inside the tent,not to mention the numerous mosquitos.So,we slept at parks in the downtown for half time,and the other half in small inns when we wanted to take a shower.I remember we slept at parks in Siping,Shenyang,Huludao,Shanhaiguan.We were kind of worried that someone would steal our things if both of us got asleep,so we slept in turn.I slept till 1 a.m, then my friend woke me up and he slept for the rest time.What impressed me especially were two things.One was that when we rode in a large part of swamp in Liaoning province,it was raining heavily behind us where we rode from,the heavy clouds made the day like night,while the road under our feet was directing us to a flaming setting sun,the sun was just at the end of the road,like a bull's eye hit by an arrow.We both were shocked by the scene,that's the most beautiful view i have ever seen up to now.Actually i was wondering whether the God was standing at the end of the road .The other one was after a night sleeping in a park in Shanhaiguan,we got up at 4:30 a.m and reached Qinhuangdao at about 7 a.m,as we hadn't bathed for days,we jumped to the sea without hesitation,about half an hour later,i found myself in a dilemma. Few people were there when we arrived,but there had been many people around when we decided to go out of the water. I was wearing a pair of briefs which was almost transparent after being saturated.So,i waited in the water for a long time before i left finally. We bought each a bottle of beer to celebrate the journey at the night before we reached Beijing,i was kind of drunk and fell asleep as soon as i took one glass of the beer.
The journey changed me to some extent though it was nothing compared to many others' experiences.It was my roommate's idea to have the journey,i did it at first just because i worried he would have danger if he did it alone,actually i didn't believe we could finish it even after we had ridden for hundreds of kilometers in the first few days.I learned two points from the journey:1,Always get prepared to try new things.Sometimes we should try to do things we have never done or haven't even thought we would do before,it will bring us new experiences,we could learn much more from them than the ones we usually do.2,The hard objects are actually not as difficult as we usually think them to be.They are difficult mostly because we think they are too difficult or impossible,the thought will limit our acts.If we divide the goals into small ones and then put them into practice,probably we would find one day we have finished the goals.For example,the whole journey from Changchun to Beijing is about 1200 km in total,but our goal was to forget the whole journey and just finish about 110 km per day.I watched a video on Youku in which two guys ran from Istanbul,Turkey to Xi'an,China,they covered 10000 km in 150 days,it seems impossible,but they made it and the reason is the same.

Did you meet any women or get chased by angry villagers? Did you do any dine and dash?
My crazy list is too long. I'd have to start from when I was a kid. Going to China was one.

I didn't get chased by villagers or women,but i came across a guy suffering mental disorder in a remote village in Liaoning province when i went to get water in the house.I remember i felt kind of scared at that moment,it was raining heavily and when i stepped out of the door i found the guy was holding a big knife.We rode away as quickly as we could.Apart from this,i didn't meet any other problems.
Hmmm, difficult to say, all was crazy in my life, including signing contract and step in the plane heading to China :-0
Too many things I can't ever talk about. But I say leaving everything at the drop of a dime and moving to China with little more than the clothes on my back was a pretty crazy thing for me to do.
In China the craziest thing I've probably done is sex in a public park. Other than that I live a pretty boring and normal life.

Craziest thing I've ever done is move to China for a man I thought was the love of my life. Left my family, my career, lost myself in the process. Now 2 1/2 years later back LA. Never losing faith that I will see and be with him again. Gods will.
I ate icecream when it was freezing cold outside.....
I joined the military when I was younger than 19.... 
I drove miles and miles away by myself to the beach...
I read philbravery questions once in awhile.........

this was in shanghai, hulk. prostitution is illegal in china, i would never engage in prostitution for the sake of this board i joke about prostitution.

because she had really flat chest that made me question her gender, but i dated a girl a few months after that pretty much had the same problem (underdeveloped breasts). so i was cleared of any homosexuality. but sometimes i do have nightmares about that experience
when i was young in college, me and a college friend from venuzuela took a motorcycle trip all the way from san diego to the bottom of south america, reagan had sold weapons to the contras and i get arrested in nicaragua because america was not popular there, after 4 days in jail and a 1500 dollar bribe i continued the trip down the pan american highway, camping wherever we could rest. the one month plan took all summer and we ran out of money. still made it and flew home, sold the bikes.

Not the craziest thing I've done, but the craziest thing I've said. A student (college-age, female) complained to me that she could not attend classes for three days of the month because her period was too painful. Without missing a beat (or thinking to whom I was addressing my response to) I said, "Take birth control pills. They'll lessen the pain and make your period shorter." Cue then looking up from the attendance sheets to make eye contact and a contest over who turned more red.

jumped out of a perfectly good airplane several times; Paraglided near high-tension lines in Incheon; dove into an overhead environment @ about 160' Gulf of Mexico; dove in a Nuke power-plant spent-fuel pool near Taipei; took the back route into Cuba (I'm a US citizen); babysat (sitted?) a grown grizzly bear in the wild near Denali Park, Alaska. Use to top out my modified Suzuki 750GS on country roads in So. Texas, getting prone on the seat and tank, pushing about 140mph. maybe others,, I'm tired right now....

when I was 15 I took a dare to walk out to the edge of a water tower tank,,, maybe 70 metres high. That I am alive is proof of God.
wandering around Mexico in the late 70's with a fist-full of US$ looking to buy herbal medication. lucky came back from that alive.... dumb, dumb, dumb.

Oh, really awesome,man! not many people have the experience as yours.
For example, accidentally driving a 911 at over 100mph on a divided city street, three lanes on each side. Long story. DO NOT TRY THIS, I was lucky, made every light.
I no longer drive fast bikes or cars for various reasons.

I don't have a car.Probably i won't buy one even if i can afford one day,there have been too many cars in China.Besides, with a bicycle i can ride to some places where cars can't go,not to mention riding bicycles is better for health.For places far away,i can take buses or taxis.
There are plenty, but one of the funniest was getting naked @ bar rouge and running with the security guys after me. Surprisingly they didnt get me til I got to my table and they just had my friends keep me calmed. I also broke part of the false ceiling and some other stuff. Manager saw me but we didnt pay anything since we had quite a good bill on drinks.

I use it religiously. So far so good. I only started on the recommendation of a good friend, he's in the same boat. Stings like a mother "pucker" though if you use it where we're talking about!
Probably nearly causing a diplomatic incident when I boogied on down with a Filipino Admirals' female aide at a formal reception when they were to buy some of our ships. Dirty dancing with her in front of Military and civic dignitaries did not go down well.
general silly buggers on shopping trips with the wife , which I may add I got a life time ban from for the PA thing the other week. maybe next time I will think about. SEX IN CHINA ON A 30DAY VISA?
