I've never had anyone comment on my earlobes.  Usually they want to comment on my big nose, deep eyes....

I have been told that someone having a detached ear lobe is thought to have inherently good luck in Chinese culture.

I don't know about earlobes but has anyone noticed that many people here have a small.......kind of digit, growing out from the side of their heads, just in front of the ear? Not a joke, i'm serious, i've seen it a few times. Just a small.....protrudence, a few millimetres wide, growing straight out the side of the head, usually about half an inch long, just in front of the ear. Most unusual.

Do you know what, that's funny, because in China i've seen many times the numbers 666 put together in a row, and apparently it's just because that in translation it wishes good fortune or something. Makes me laugh though because it's just a matter of time before some Bible bashing, fundamentalist Christian comes across it and pronounces this place the home of Satan.

What a redicularity this world of children. And the hits just keep on coming.

Never thought about it before, but the "666" makes sense, because that is a money number, along with "8."

You can see what i'm saying about it being used by Christian fanatics to demonize this place though right? It's kind of funny when you think about it.

There are only two things that keep growing until you die, ears and noses.   Everything else shrinks.   I've got very big ears, a very big nose and very small other things.
