Have some urgent documents that need to arrive in Europe ASAP. It takes 2 weeks for letters to be delivered using the regular postal service here, which is too slow. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I've used DHL a couple of time. It's as fast as it is pricey.
I think they have a number you can call to get a price for the particular delivery.
philbravery:
Can you scan or fax the papers
to give you some breathing time before the physical papers get there?
Failing that
Carrier Pigeon

Carrier Pigeons are not reliable out of China as they are at risk of falling to the ground as the air is too dense to fly through
As philbravery said,i would scan them at first if i were you.
Strangely, China EMS seem to be able to get documents to Europe quicker than destinations in Mainland China. I have on at least six occasions sent documents or 'F' visa invitation letters to clientsin Europe and it has never taken more than two days for them to arrive. The average in China is 3-4 days.
I used UPS to send documents to Europe. The faster you want them delivered the more you pay. I paid 280 rmb for a folder with documents and it took 2 working days to get there. The post office in China is useless and over-priced. UPS or some other international courier is the way to go.
I have to send my old passport to EU but I don't care how long it takes, just want to make sure it gets there. Which one should I use?
Scandinavian:
I've used DHL and UPS for just that. It's also really fast. They hand carry from door to door (of course changing hands a million times in between)
DHL express service usually takes 2-3 days to Europe, costs around 700RMB
Hmmm isn't there a slower / cheaper service? I don't really feel like paying that to mail my old passport so they destroy it.
Hakupatasa:
Use registered service. Few months back, I sent one document to Germany and Two documents to Canada. Both Registered. It cost under 30 RMB each (500g). Reached within 15 days. And good thing, I was able to track it. Well once it left China, I was able to track it on Canada post for Canada bound letters. For Germany, DHL didn't show anything, still I found they received the mail same time as Canada (received an email).
So if I was in your case I would have surely gone for China Post Registered Mail.
